Preparing for hand-over The building of the new accommodation block on Westfield Lane is due to be completed by the end of the month, as the builders put the finishing touches to both interior and exterior. The completion of the contractor’s work will allow the internal fittings to be started. The dedication of the new building has been set for Saturday 25 September, 2010  Luther Hall Nears Completion Meanwhile this summer will see big changes in the old building. The old common room will become a dedicated lecture room, the old dining room will become the ELCE archive and resource centre, the staff offices will accommodate an extension to the library, and the staff offices will move upstairs into what had formerly been bedrooms.

2010 brought three new students to Westfield House for the Lent and Easter term. Kyrie Hook and Kristen Strom are Concordia University Chicago students who are studying abroad at Westfield House for a semester, while Patrice Legbanon, from Benin, is with us as he completes his Masters Thesis on the relationship between the Lutheran Reformation and the English Church and its implications for the church in Benin.
